Industrial Mechanic

If you’re the type of person who prefers to fix things rather than just throw them away, and you’re interested in high-tech products, then you have the best chance of finding your dream job as an industrial mechanic.

What does an industrial mechanic do?

As an industrial mechanic at Schütte, you will maintain and service our high-tech machines and perform inspections. This role requires technical understanding, manual dexterity, and precision. You will independently decide on testing procedures as well as whether to replace or manufacture components in-house. Since repairs and modifications are often carried out as a team, team spirit is essential.

Your responsibilities at a glance:

  • Manufacturing & Assembly: You process materials such as steel or plastic through turning, milling, and grinding, and assemble them according to technical drawings.
  • Service: Occasionally, you will install systems directly at the customer’s site—including abroad—and train them on how to operate them.

The three-and-a-half-year apprenticeship is diverse and offers excellent career opportunities. We’ll teach you everything you need to know to succeed.

We’ve put together some information here to help you determine whether the industrial clerk apprenticeship is right for you and whether you meet the necessary requirements.
