Here, It’s All About Maximum Productivity
Schütte offers a comprehensive product range of highly productive multi-spindle lathes, in which a wide variety of manufacturing steps for producing a workpiece run in a highly parallel manner.

Multi-Spindle Technology for Greater Efficiency
The manufacturing process is distributed across multiple machining spindles. The machining spindles, arranged in a spindle drum, are switched to sequentially arranged machining stations by the indexing of the spindle drum. On six-spindle machines, for example, there are six machining stations.
Through the use of appropriate slide units, two tools typically work simultaneously on the workpiece in each machining station. For the example of the six-spindle machine, this means that twelve tools are constantly in use, completing the workpiece step by step. The productivity of a multi-spindle automatic lathe is—depending on the number of spindles and the application—approximately 5–7 times higher than that of a single-spindle automatic lathe.

Customized Schütte Solutions
Schütte offers a highly productive and cost-effective manufacturing solution tailored to the specific requirements of every machining task, from the machining of a 'simple' turned part to the production of complex and high-precision workpieces.
Our multi-spindle automatic lathes thus meet the requirements of the automotive and valve industries, general mechanical engineering, medical technology, and the manufacture of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
