Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering

If you’re interested in computer technology and innovative systems and have always wanted to know how such a machine works, then the role of electronics technician for industrial engineering is the perfect fit for you.

What does an industrial electronics technician actually do?

As an Industrial Electronics Technician at Schütte, you ensure that all energy supply systems are properly maintained to prevent outages. This includes tasks such as controlling and regulating production processes (example), measuring machine temperature and pressure, installing wiring, and setting up workstations. And all of this while complying with current accident prevention regulations.

Just as in industrial mechanics, electronics technicians for industrial engineering may also be assigned to work at customer sites—worldwide.

All in all, this is a very interesting and versatile apprenticeship with many opportunities for your future career. But of course, no one is born a master, so over the course of three and a half years, we’ll teach you everything a successful industrial electronics technician needs to know.

We’ve put together some information here to help you figure out if the industrial business administration apprenticeship is the right fit for you and whether you meet the necessary requirements.
